حزب کمونیست کارگری: بهروز مهرآبادی عزیز درگذشت

به اطلاع میرسانیم که رفیق عزیزمان بهروز مهرآبادی عضو کمیته مرکزی حزب کمونیست کارگری پس از حدود سه سال جدال با سرطان امروز ۱۶ سپتامبر در شهر گوتنبرگ سوئد درگذشت. درگذشت بهروز را صمیمانه به اعضای خانواده اش، دوستانش و به کلیه اعضا و دوستداران حزب تسلیت میگوییم.

بهروز از فعالین سیاسی قدیمی است که از زمان حکومت پهلوی بلاوقفه در حال مبارزه و جدال با ستمگری و بی عدالتی های اجتماعی بوده است. او از کادرهای قدیمی و با سابقه و با تجربه حزب بود و چند دهه از زندگی اش را صرف تلاش و مبارزه برای دنیایی بهتر، دنیایی انسانی و فارغ از ستم و تبعیض و نابرابری و صرف پیشروی حزب نمود. بهروز مسئولیت های مختلفی در طول فعالیت با حزب داشت از جمله چندین سال دبیر تشکیلات سوئد حزب و چندین سال سردبیر نشریه انترناسیونال بود و با دقت و پشتکار و با احساس مسئولیت فوق العاده فعالیت میکرد. متاسفانه سرطان به او مهلت نداد پیشروی های بیشتر جنبشی که خود یک عضو فعال آن بود را ببیند. مرگ بهروز ضایعه ای دردناک برای حزب ما و جنبش رهایی بخش سوسیالیستی است.

آرمان های انسانی بهروز عزیز همیشه زنده است. یادش را گرامی میداریم.

Our dear Behrooz Mehrabadi passed away

It is with great sadness that we announce that our dear comrade Behrooz Mehrabadi, member of the Central Committee of the Worker-communist Party of Iran, passed away today in the city of Gothenburg, Sweden, after around three years of battle with cancer. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends and all members and friends of the party.

Behrooz was a veteran political activist, who had been fighting tirelessly against oppression and social injustice since the days of the previous regime of monarchy. He was an experienced cadre of our party, devoting several decades of his life to the fight for a better world, a human world free of oppression, discrimination and inequality.

Behrooz held various party responsibilities during his activities with the party, including a number of years as the head of the Worker-communist Party of Iran’s Sweden Committee and several years as the Editor of the party’s central publication, International. He conducted his work with extraordinary diligence, care and sense of responsibility. Unfortunately, cancer did not let him share in the upcoming successes of a movement in which he was an active member. His death is a painful loss for our party and the socialist movement for human liberation.

The human causes for which Behrooz fought are forever alive. We hold dear his memory.
