کمپین “مبارزه با الیگارشی” شما مبارزه ای تنها علیه یک رئیس جمهور فوق ارتجاعی و خودکامه نیست بلکه گامی است در راستای پایان دادن به سلطه یک درصدیها در آمریکا و در سراسر جهان!

ترامپیسم نه یک پدیده صرفا آمریکایی است و نه یک زائده تصادفی در نظام سرمایه داری. این مرحله نهایی یک روند قهقرایی جهانی است که با تاچریسم و ریگانیسم آغاز شد و با “جنگ علیه تروریسم”، تهاجم به عراق و افغانستان، ظهور اسلام گرایی و تروریسم اسلامی در خاورمیانه و در سراسر جهان، سقوط اقتصادی ٢٠٠٨، ظهور راست افراطی در غرب، سلطه اولیگارشی پوتین و شرکا در روسیه، و ، همانطور که آمار آکسفام اعلام می کند و کنفرانس داووس سال به سال هشدار می دهد، شکاف عظیم و فزاینده بین فقر و ثروت در سراسر جهان، ادامه یافت.

این روند قهقرایی اکنون به نتیجه منطقی خود رسیده است. امروز، مولتی میلیاردرهای یک درصدی در قدرتمندترین اقتصاد جهان، مستقیماً قدرت سیاسی را به دست می گیرند و قدرت اقتصادی خود را به سلطه مطلق سیاسی تبدیل میکنند. این می تواند پایان نه تنها لیبرال دموکراسی، بلکه پایان تمدن باشد. می تواند … مگر اینکه البته جهان متمدن بخود سازمان دهد و بمیدان بیاید. شما و الکساندریا اوکاسیو کورتز دقیقا در همین جهت گام برمیدارید. این مبارزه میتواند و باید از به چالش کشیدن ترامپیسم فراتر برود و مشروعیت، اعتبار و مطلوبیت نه تنها سلطه یک درصدیها بلکه کل نظام سرمایه داری را بزیر سوال ببرد.

مبارزه شما بخشی از یک جنبش جهانی علیه وضع موجود در همه کشورها است. جنبشی پیشرو که در دهه های اخیر از تقابل نود و نه در صدیها و یک درصدیها در جنبش اشغال تا انقلابات بهار عرب، از جنبش “نمیتوانم نفس بکشم” در آمریکا تا اعتراضات “جلیقه زردها” در فرانسه، و از جنبش “من چارلی هستم” تا سربلند کردن انقلاب شکوهمند زن زندگی آزادی در ایران، تداوم داشته است.

امروز جنبش زن زندگی آزادی یک برآمد عظیم این خیزش است؛ جبهه دیگری که پرچم تمدن و آزادی و انسانیت را علیه دیکتاتوری آیت الله های میلیاردر برافراشته است. مردم ایران قریب سه سال است مبارزه بی امانی را با رژیمی که نوع اسلامی دروغگویی، عوامفریبی و خودکامگی ترامپیستی است به پیش میبرند و از این نقطه نظر کمپین “مبارزه با الیگارشی” و “انقلاب زنانه” ایران همسو و همجهت هستند.

امیدوارم کمپین شما گامی موثر باشد در جهت رهایی نه تنها از ترامپ و ترامپیسم بلکه از سیستمی که چنین رئیس جمهوری را تولید می کند و به آن نیاز دارد! خلع مولتی میلیاردرهای یک درصدی از قدرت سیاسی می تواند گامی در جهت خلع ید کل طبقه سرمایه دار و استقرار سوسیالیسم باشد.

Dear Bernie Sanders

Your “Fighting Oligarchy” campaign is not just a fight against an ultra-reactionary and autocratic president, but a step towards ending the dominance of the 1% in America and around the world!

Trumpism is neither just an American phenomenon nor anTrumpism is neither just an American phenomenon nor an accidental anomaly in the

capitalist system. It is the final phase of a worldwide regressive process that started

with Thatcherism and Reaganism and continued with the “War on Terror”, the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, the rise of Islamism and Islamic terrorism in the Middle East and all over the world, the 2008 economic crash, and the emergence of the far-right in the West, the dominance of Putin and Co in Russia, and, as Oxfam statistics reveal and the Davos conferences warn year after year, the huge and ever deepening gap between poverty and wealth all over the world.

Now, this regressive process has come to its logical conclusion . Today, the multi-billionaire 1% in the world’s most powerful economy are directly seizing political power, and translating their economic dominance into absolute political power. It could be the end of not only liberal democracy, but the end of civilization. It could be, unless, of course, the civilized world gets organized and resists.You and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are taking steps in exactly that direction.

This fight can and must go beyond challenging Trumpism to questioning the legitimacy, credibility, and desirability of not just the dominance of the 1% but of the entire capitalist system.

Your struggle is part of a global movement against the status quo in all countries. A progressive movement that, in recent decades, has continued from the confrontation of the 1% and the 99% in the Occupy movement to the Arab Spring revolutions, from the “I Can’t Breathe” movement in America to the “Yellow Vest” protests in France, and from the “I am Chalie” movement to the glorious revolution of “Woman Life Freedom” in Iran.

Today, the Women Life Freedom Movement is a major manifestation of this uprising; another front that has raised the banner of civilization, freedom, and humanity against the dictatorship of the billionaire Ayatollahs. For nearly three years, the people of Iran have been waging a relentless struggle against a regime that is the Islamic version of lies, demagoguery, and Trumpist tyranny. From this perspective, the “Fighting Oligarchy” campaign and the Iranian “Women’s Revolution” are on the same side and in the same direction.

I hope your campaign will be an effective step towards liberation not only from Trump and Trumpism but from a system that produces and requires such a president! Stripping the 1% multi-billionaires of political power can be a step towards stripping the capitalist class of its power and establishing socialism.
