For two years, a vast genocide and grave crimes have been perpetrated by the Israeli government before the eyes of the world. The scenes captured in videos—though only a small glimpse of this government’s atrocities against the people of Gaza—are truly shocking.
Children being buried alive as they scream and cry; frail and starving women and men being beaten in queues for UN food aid; impoverished homes collapsing on their residents; doctors and journalists gunned down; prisoners of war massacred with their hands tied and buried in mass graves; and the daily beatings, assaults, and humiliations of Palestinian men and women by Israeli soldiers and settlers—all occur alongside the horrific and continuous bombings and shootings. At the same time, famine and lack of medicine are claiming the lives of the besieged population in Gaza on a daily basis.
This is a clear case of genocide being carried out by the fascist Israeli regime with the backing of the far-right Trump administration, right in front of the global public.
The statistics from the past two years are revealing: 64,500 deaths, over 20,000 of whom are children; thousands more dead from hunger and cold; at least 160,000 injured; and over 80% of homes destroyed. These figures are from several months ago, and the scale of the massacres and destruction continues to grow each day.
On September 12, 2025, the United Nations General Assembly voted, with 142 votes in favor, 10 against, and 12 abstentions, in support of establishing an independent Palestinian state. In defiance of the international community, Netanyahu shrugged off the resolution and declared, “There will be no Palestinian state. This land belongs to us.” He and all Israeli fascists have repeatedly affirmed this stance.
Netanyahu seeks to go down in history as the prime minister who erased Palestine from the Palestinians. Gaza is experiencing the worst genocide of the 21st century—a human catastrophe, a full-scale genocide, a systematic and deliberate annihilation being carried out by the Israeli state. The voice of humanity is rising against this genocide. Every week, hundreds of thousands of people around the world take to the streets in major cities to protest the Israeli government’s crimes in Gaza. These protests—and also those taking place inside Israel against Netanyahu’s government—must grow to the point that Netanyahu is forced to put an end to his daily crimes.
Neither the horrific attack by Hamas on October 7 two years ago, nor the positions of that terrorist group or the Islamic Republic in calling for the destruction of Israel, in any way justify these atrocities. In fact, they serve to strengthen the Israeli fascist regime and obstruct the resolution of the Palestinian issue.
The Worker-communist Party of Iran once again strongly condemns the Israeli government’s crimes against the defenseless people of Gaza. Western governments—particularly the anti-human Trump administration—must be compelled to pressure the fascist rulers of Israel to immediately end their war, crimes, genocide against the Palestinian people, the starvation of two million children, elderly, women, and men in Gaza, and the occupation of this territory.
We support the two-state solution (an independent Palestinian state alongside the state of Israel), and we call upon all people to express solidarity with the people of Gaza and to condemn the racist Israeli government and the U.S. government’s support for it.
