Amnesty International’s recent detailed, documented, and shocking report entitled “Trampling Humanity”: extensive detention, disappearance, and torture in the wake of the November 2019 protests” exposed other aspects of the Islamic Republic’s heinous crimes against the November 2019 uprising to the world. The report was published on 2 September 2020.

The suppression of the November 2019 uprising by the Islamic Republic is a blatant crime against humanity. The Islamic regime cut off the internet and communication with the outside world for a few days and carried out a mass and indiscriminate killings of protesters and anyone on the streets. That was a mass protest against poverty, misery, repression, and lack of rights.
Still no one knows exactly how many were killed or injured or maimed. The death toll has been estimated from a few hundreds to 1,500. They did not even allow the people to mourn for their loved ones. The wounded were treated secretly at home, and those who went to the hospital were sent to prison and were tortured. The report is detailed and documented manifestations of the Islamic Republic’s crimes against more than 7,000 detainees and their families.
The Islamic Republic has committed crimes and genocide many times during its tragic rule. The crime of November 2019, is one of the shocking cases before everyone with details and documents, and its anniversary will come in two months. The world must show more urgency in condemning and isolating the murderer rulers of Iran.
Labour and women’s rights organizations, other right-seeking organizations, international bodies such as the UN Human Rights Council and the European Union, all governments and political parties must blame and condemn the Islamic Republic for the November 2019 crimes.
Worker-communist Party of Iran will redouble its usual efforts in this direction. We, once again, call on the freedom-loving people of the world to stand with the people of Iran and force their governments to condemn the Islamic Republic for the November 2019 crimes. The Islamic Republic must be isolated and rejected, like the apartheid regime in South Africa was. The Islamic Republic is the killer of the Iranian people and no government should recognize it as a state.
