Nasser Asgary: I am talking to those feminists in the West

Iran in recent days has been a battle ground between security forces (both in plain cloths and official riot police) and the people that have endured hardship, repression and poverty for about 4 decades. This battle is a decisive one, as people of more than 100 cities and towns so far have come out and expressed their deep anger towards thuggish Islamic regime of Iran. You only need to know some basic Farsi (Persian) to feel how hated this regime and its laws are.

The photo below shows a girl that has taken off her hijab. This Islamic symbol of enslavement of women has been challenged. It has been challenged by women in Iran, but it has been supported by feminists in the West under the pretext of a piece of cloths that women wear freely. It is a lie that has been sold to them by these so called Anti-Imperialists that woman in Islam-stricken societies chose hijab with no pressure. They have been duped that hijab empowers women! The photo shows that with slightest opening, hijab will be thrown into garbage bins. They will be empowered when they are not forced by male “protectors” to wear according to what these “protectors” want them to wear!
